Silent Hill is a franchise that many fans have clamored to make a comeback for a long time. Ever since the cancellation of Kojima's P.T. the fanbase has been constantly on the lookout for anything regarding possible sequels or revivals. With such a long wait, some Silent Hill fans have done other things with the franchise in various tributes or fan art. Some play to the series' horror roots, while others are more hilarious. One such tribute combines the horrors of the town of Silent Hill with the classic comedy show Seinfeld in a completely dissonant manner.

KinoFabino is a user on Twitter that has gained notoriety among gamers for his surreal and memetic posts on Twitter. These posts usually revolve around horror games, Bionicles, Duke Nukem or other FPS games. His latest surreal postings have been his memes that include the absurdity of Seinfeld's cast in the world of Silent Hill, alongside the combination of the two logos together. These eventually resulted in him putting the logo onto a hoodie for sale, with the first pictures of the design on Twitter.

The creativity of combining Seinfeld with a horror game is not unheard of. A few months ago, indie studio RareBird Games released a trailer regarding a Seinfeld-inspired horror game rife with references to the show. While this hoodie isn't quite as elaborate, it still instills the same kind of dissonant tones when seeing Silent Hill in the style of Seinfeld's logo.

Fans of KinoFabino were greatly amused by the hoodie, with some pointing out similar designs that evoke the same "bootleg merchandise" feel about the design, with some posting similar bizarrely combined logo designs that were released. Others found the design appropriate considering how bizarre Silent Hill can get at times, especially with its endings. KinoFabino's hoodie design is available for fans to purchase on RedBubble, alongside other merchandise based on other memetic posts he made.

Horror game fans and Seinfeld fans might get a kick out of this, since the two properties being so far apart from each other tonally is enough to give them a laugh. On the other hand, Silent Hill fans are waiting with bated breath on anything with the series. The only other official news from Konami was also regarding merchandise from the series. A hoodie based on Silent Hill 2 was put up for pre-order last week, with them being exclusive to Konami's online storefront. While there might not be another Silent Hill game this tribute shows both the silly and adored side of the fanbase.
