Later, the Silent Hill 2 PC requirements were revealed, confirming that gamers will need a powerful PC if they hope to run the new survival-horror game properly. Now more information has been revealed about how the game will use the PS5's DualSense controller.

It's been confirmed that Silent Hill 2 will utilize the PS5 DualSense controller's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, with Bloober Team pointing out how it utilized those features in its game The Medium. Specifics on how exactly haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will be used in the Silent Hill 2 remake will have to wait for another day, but there are other ways that the game is going to take advantage of the PS5's hardware.

It's also been confirmed that the Silent Hill 2 remake will take advantage of the PS5's 3D audio.
