Every anime consists of a variety of characters, but as with any fictional medium, the focus lies on the main protagonist of a series. Due to the huge number of characters in some anime, it is almost impossible to give all the characters enough screen time. However, sometimes side characters who are extremely popular get a chance to be on the screen.
