Shin Megami Tensei 5 players will start the story off in the school where the main character attends. Players quickly learn that the school recommends that the students go back to their dorm after school ends in a group using the Buddy System, due to some safety concerns in the city. After players walk around the classroom and speak to the other students marked on the mini-map, a cutscene will happen and players will have to make their first choice of many in Shin Megami Tensei 5.
After finding nobody to walk home with, MC chooses to go at it alone, but a fellow student approaches them. His name is Yuzuru Atsuta and he wants the main character to come with him and his group of friends to the dorms together. This brings up two choices that Shin Megami Tensei 5 players will have to choose from: "Sure," and "... I don't want to." Some players might be wondering which choice to make and if there is a "best" choice to go along with, and that's where this guide comes into play.
Should SMT 5 Players Choose Sure or I Don't Want to?
Believe it or not, this choice in SMT 5 will not impact the narrative in any way. If players choose "sure," they will go along with the group, and the story will progress like usual. And, if someone chooses the other option, the Atlus-made main character will still go with the group of students. Both options have the same result.
However, without spoiling too much, there are multiple endings in Shin Megami Tensei 5 that players can get --four, to be specific. Three of these endings are based on choices made throughout the game, but at the end of the day, players will always have the chance to choose the ending they want at the game's final moments. Players shouldn't worry too much about the small narrative choices presented to them, such as this one at the beginning of the game.
There's not just one ending to Shin Megami Tensei 5 that's considered to be "canon," so players should just choose what they feel and go with their gut on these.
