It's been two years since the world watched Mark Ruffalo's Hulk smash things to smithereens on a screen. Now, after already confirming he would be joining the show, we have our first look at Ruffalo on the set of the upcoming Disney Plus show She-Hulk.

As with all of Marvel entertainment, details on the story and plot of She-Hulk are being tightly guarded and fans probably won't know much until the first trailer is shared. One thing fans can hold on to until then is this photo of Ruffalo on set, originally shared by actress Anais Almonte on her Facebook page.

The photo shows Ruffalo in a full-on motion-capture suit complete with performance-capture dots on his face, smiling alongside Almonte. While there's no word on how involved Ruffalo will be with each episode, IMDB has him credited as being in all ten episodes of the first season alongside She-Hulk herself, Tatiana Maslany. The show is described by Marvel Studios as a half-hour legal comedy.

Ruffalo has made it clear in the past that he will not be starring in his own standalone Hulk movie due to Universal's inability to work well with Marvel. This could mean that She-Hulk might be the last chance fans get to see Ruffalo play the Hulk since there's hasn't been any word on what else the future holds for the big green guy with a heart of gold.

Maslany was last seen in HBO's Perry Mason as the show-stopping Sister Alice McKeegan, a performance that can assure fans she's ready to tackle the role of She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters. The series will also bring back one other familiar face besides Ruffalo, Tim Roth will reprise his role as Abomination. The villainous Abomination was last seen in 2008's The Incredible Hulk, which starred Edward Norton as Bruce Banner before Ruffalo took on the role. Rounding out the cast is Ginger Gonzaga (Space Force), whose character is still unknown, and Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton), who will be playing a character named Amelia.

She-Hulk will be developed and written by Jessica Gao, who has written for shows such as Rick and Morty, Silicon Valley, and Big Time Rush. The series will also be directed by both Kat Coiro and Anu Valia. Coiro has previously directed episodes of Dead To Me, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and The Mick, while Valia's credits include Shrill, Never Have I Ever, and At Home With Amy Sedaris.

She-Hulk is expected to premiere on Disney Plus sometime in 2022.
