Having some basic combat training is essential when signing on for a Marvel role and that's exactly what Jameela Jamil is working on right now. The Good Place star recently confirmed that she will officially be a part of Marvel's She-Hulk on Disney Plus, and it looks like she's been having a blast learning all of the new stunt choreography that comes with her role.

Jamil took to Twitter to share a short clip of her combat training, adding the caption, "I've peaked in silliness. I'm so excited!" While she did not give any details on which character she will be playing, several reports have suggested that Jamil will play Titania, one of She-Hulk's main adversaries in the comic books. Like any good villain, Titania is an even match for She-Hulk as she possesses immense levels of superhuman strength, stamina, and resistance to physical injury. She is also an expert street fighter, which is why combat training is a necessary component of Jamil's role.

Joining Jamil in the cast is Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a.k.a She-Hulk, Ginger Gonzaga as Walters' best friend, Tim Roth as Abomination, and Renee Elise Goldsberry as Amelia. Mark Ruffalo's Hulk will also make appearances throughout the show, which is scheduled to run for ten episodes. Jessica Gao, who most notably worked on Adult Swim's Rick and Morty, will serve as the show's creator and lead writer, so fans can expect a very fun and witty script. The roster of directors includes Kat Coiro and Anu Valia.

According to Kevin Feige, She-Hulk will have a slightly different pacing compared to previous Marvel shows that have been released on Disney Plus so far. Each episode will run for a half-hour and She-Hulk will be a legal comedy that mixes lighthearted moments with intense action. Feige has also suggested characters from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe could make appearances on the series considering Walters specializes in cases related to superheroes.

She-Hulk is one of many female-centric titles that Marvel is currently working on. So far in Phase 4, the studio has seen much success with WandaVision and Black Widow, and it is hoping to replicate that success with other soon-to-come projects.

Included in their line-up of television shows and films that feature women at the forefront are Hawkeye (starring Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop), The Marvels (starring Brie Larson as Captain Marvel), Thor: Love and Thunder (starring Natalie Portman as Lady Thor), and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (starring Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez).

She-Hulk is currently in production and will be coming to Disney Plus sometime in 2022.
