The end-credit scene in episode 4 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was actually not part of the script during filming. It turns out that the little bonding moment between 2 unlikely friends actually came about due to the surprising real-life chemistry between the two actors.

When viewers get to enjoy the ever-present Wong (Benedict Wong) and his new party-loving friend Madisynn (Patty Guggenheim) chatting about drinks during the credits of She-Hulk's 4th episode, they can rest in the knowledge that this moment came from someplace special. Once director Kat Coiro saw how well they worked together, she realized she had to add a little something extra. So she sat them down and just let them have some fun in character.

"When Wong and Madison [sic] are riffing with each other…? That didn't exist in the script," Coiro said when speaking with TVLine. "That came purely from the actors' comedic chemistry and us going, 'We've got to throw some cameras on these two, because they're so funny.'" Anyone who's seen the episode likely knows exactly what she means, as Wong and Madisynn immediately hit it off with viewers once the partier-out-of-water landed in the Sorcerer Supreme's cozy abode and promptly began spoiling The Sopranos.

Guggenheim's casting as Madisynn wasn't just some happy coincidence either, as there's some history there with the director of this particular episode, and it looks like the surprisingly short She-Hulk got lucky with this decision. "If you do a little deep dive on Kat Coiro, you will find Patty Guggenheim is there all the time," Coiro explained. "I do not go anywhere without that woman. She is a comedic genius. When I brought her up [for the She-Hulk role], nobody was familiar with her. But then she came in and auditioned for us and everybody — the Marvel executives, [including] Wendy Jacobson and Sean Earley… [head writer/EP] Jessica [Gao] — everyone watching that audition was actually crying with laughter. Tears streaming down their faces."

The friendship between Madisynn and Wong (or "Wongers" as she now affectionately calls him) is already one of the highlights of the already hilarious She-Hulk. That's no small feat when it follows an episode featuring series star Tatiana Maslany twerking with Megan Thee Stallion, but it bodes well for the show's future.

Who knows where She-Hulk will go next? But here's hoping that this won't be the end of Madisynn and Wongers' adventures together. Hey, Wong already shows up in pretty much every Marvel Studios project now, so why not add his new bestie to the mix too?
