She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has the potential to be one of the most unique Marvel Studios projects on Disney Plus or otherwise in recent years. With its clear focus on comedy and shorter episode length, its very format offers some opportunities to break free from the classic mold that's been in place since the original Netflix Daredevil series. But don't just take that assertion on faith.

A new clip from She-Hulk was released to celebrate a week left before its premiere, and it goes a long way in setting the tone for what audiences should probably expect. Featuring Tatiana Maslany in the lead role as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk and Mark Ruffalo as her cousin Bruce Banner/The Hulk, it gives viewers a moment of zen as the duo discuss some rather hilarious personal matters while driving. Well, they're not technically personal to anyone sitting in the car, anyway.

"Steve Rogers did not have a girlfriend before he went into the service," Jennifer says in the IMDb clip as Bruce wearily puts his head in his hands. She then continues with a monologue about how Steve Rogers basically spent his whole life fighting wars after getting the supersoldier serum with almost no downtime. Bruce, who acts a bit standoffish, still eggs her on with a smile. Jennifer mentions Steve's record, becoming a war hero and then getting frozen only to wake up 70 years later and fight some more, before she finally gets to her thesis statement.

"Obviously," she sums up, "Captain America was a virgin!" Her argument likely would have gotten a better reaction from Bruce if what appears to be the Grandmaster's ship from Thor: Ragnarok hadn't appeared in front of their car right at this moment. "Look out!" Bruce shouts from the passenger seat as Jennifer cuts the wheel to the side. Their car slams through the guardrail, flinging them down a steep ravine while the cousins are seen panicking in slow motion. They finally come to a stop upside down at the bottom of a slope with no indication of how the 2 people inside fared. But considering they're both big green superheroes, it sounds like this may be the start to an exciting fight scene, or at least a really funny running away scene if Jennifer doesn't have her powers yet at this point.

Audiences won't know what happens next until She-Hulk finally premieres next week, as the clip ends there. However, the banter between Jennifer and Bruce definitely feels like some classic Marvel dialogue. But given how She-Hulk is apparently going to be a half-hour legal comedy, odds are moments like this will carry the show far more than simply offering quick character development between fights. Granted, this clip seems to clearly end before a fight, so maybe that theory is already blown out of the water.

Either way, it looks like there's a lot to look forward to, and fans of Maslany should be able to rest easy knowing she's still putting out her A-game here. It will be interesting to see who was flying the Grandmaster's ship, as well as how they react to maybe accidentally making Jennifer crash. Sounds like this may be one of many instances where She-Hulk gets to flex its comedy chops.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on August 18th, 2022, on Disney Plus.
