Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has got a new television spot for the upcoming movie for phase four of the cinematic universe. In the quick 30-second trailer fans can see a glimpse of the action, the ten rings as well as how to pronounce the name of the titular hero.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will introduce the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first prominent superhero of Asian descent. In the comics, Shang-Chi has been involved on missions with many of Marvel's most popular heroes including Captain America, Spider-Man and Wolverine. Shang-Chi is also one of Marvel's "non-superhuman" heroes joining the likes of Hawkeye, Black Widow, The Punisher, and Daredevil to name a few. The one thing that makes Shang-Chi stand out from a normal human being is his ability to channel his chi.

Every living being has and possesses an aura called chi. This aura when understood can be used to enhance and boost certain abilities as well as attributes such as speed, endurance as well as strength. The movie will showcase Shang-Chi's resilience as well as combat prowess in way that Marvel usually does in order to make it make sense for the newcomer fans.

In the trailer above fans can hear how to pronounce the name of the hero. It's done in a humorous way in order to get a proper reaction from audiences as well as educate them on the importance of getting a name right. Black Panther did a good job at this and it looks that Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings will be following in its footsteps.

One more thing to note is that this film will be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first official look at the legendary "Mandarin" who was teased in the background of the Iron Man and Ant-Man films. He will be a fleshed-out and detailed character that will finally be getting screen time rather than be lurking in from behind the scenes in the shadows. He will also be utilizing the infamous ten rings which bring immense power to the user.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings will hopefully show that Marvel is much more than Captain America, Iron Man and the Avengers. It's good to see Marvel digging into more of their lore because they have such a rich catalog of many diverse heroes and villains that many are excited to see including the long-awaited Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom.

Shang-Chi is set to hit theaters on September 3.
