For many Marvel fans, it has been far too long since they were able to go to a true theater release. After recent controversy regarding the release of Black Widow, one fan decided to celebrate Marvel's newest film in style. At Shang-Chi's red carpet premiere, one cosplayer arrived dressed as none other than the Scarlet Witch from WandaVision.

The cosplayer, "@misskrisskosplay," has a reputable following on Instagram for her insanely accurate cosplays. At the Shang-Chi premiere, she adopts Wanda's look from the WandaVision finale. The look is perfected with incredible attention to detail. It is complete with Wanda's intricate scarlet top, gloves, black boots, and pants. The dark pants are not only adorned with the silver design from WandaVision, they are even accompanied by the buckle Wanda sported during the finale.

Completed by the deep red headpiece,"@misskrisskosplay" goes beyond alluding to the WandaVision finale. It is incredibly similar to the headpiece Wanda wears in Marvel Comics. Some Marvel heroes have adopted some form of their comic book looks and this is the closest Wanda has come to hers. In WandaVision, the unusual titular couple teased their traditional comic book costumes during the Halloween episode. Wanda played hers off as a Sokovian fortune teller and called Vision a Mexican wrestler.

Due to the suburban environment of Westview, Wanda and Vision never had a reason to suit up in their superhero gear. For Wanda, this doesn't change until she steps outside of the Hex. Wanda wears the look "@misskrisskosplay" has adopted after draining Agatha of her magic and officially transforming into the coveted Scarlet Witch. The last look anyone gets of Wanda in this look is the post-credits scene, where she is seen reading from the book that once belonged to Agatha.

In her constant evolution, many Marvel fans have taken notice of the changes Wanda has made throughout her time in the MCU and WandaVision took a few digs at this by drawing attention to the fact that Wanda has practically lost her Sokovian accent. This cosplayer nailed an even subtler detail than Wanda's accent: her hair color. Next to the vibrant scarlet top and headpiece, the redness of her hair stands out.

When Wanda was officially introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron, she had brown hair. It remains that way through Civil War, but afterward, it begins to change to a vibrant shade of red. There could be several explanations for it, including the fact that she and Vision were on the run, or that she was coming into her powers. Regardless of what the reason is, "@misskrisskosplay" nails it. With Wanda appearing in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022, this Scarlet Witch look will likely be making a comeback.

Shang-Chi will be released in theaters on September 3, 2021, and WandaVision is now streaming on Disney Plus.
