There is yet another mystery five-letter word for Wordle fans to try to figure out, and players might want a hint or two.

Wordle's back today with yet another challenging word of the day. Players will need to get it right in six or fewer guesses, and some might need some help to get to the correct answer.

How To Play Wordle

Wordle is a short daily word guessing game that pits players against a mystery five-letter word. Every day, players from all over the world will be logging into their New York Times Games accounts to play Wordle. There is a brand-new word every 24 hours that players can challenge themselves with. Here's how to play:

First, head to the New York Times Wordle website. While there are many different Wordle copycats and clones, but this one is the original and the subject of this article. Players can also access Wordle through the New York Times Crossword app. After accessing the right site, choose a starting word. This word:

Must be five letters long.
Must be a real English word.
Should contain a variety of commonly used Wordle letters.
Should not be a proper noun.

Type the chosen word into the site and press enter. The letters of the word will then change colors.

Letters that turn green are right and in the right place in the word.
Gray letters are incorrect and won't be in the final word of the day.
Yellow letters are right but in the wrong place in the word.

Given these color-coded clues, keep trying new five-letter words and getting more clues. Players have six tries to get to the right answer. Puzzles reset at midnight local time. After the Wordle puzzle of the day is done, the menu will pop up. This menu contains stats, a spoiler-free share button, and the timer until the next puzzle is live. Stats include things like winning streaks, total puzzles completed, and more.
