The Divine Child is an important NPC in the world of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the latest title from Dark Souls developer From Software. While the game's already gained a reputation for its particularly brutal enemies and boss fights, the Divine Child is much more helpful, gifting the Mortal Blade to any players that find her and offer Rice (a Vitality restoring item) when asked. But if a player requests Rice multiple times, she in turn will make a request of them to find a Persimmon (an item that restores Posture), which some may find a bit tricky if they don't know where to look.

There are really only two places in Sekiro to find Persimmon. Fortunately, they're roughly in the same area - Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo. The first place to check is the Temple Grounds. From the Temple Grounds Idol, head to the base of the temple below where four wolves are and then head down a path to the right in the opposite direction of the monks. Down that path should be a bunch of apes and, eventually, there will be an ogre with an ape that need to be taken out. One of the items nearby should be a Persimmon.

The second place is Shugendo. Start from the Shugendo Idol, turn around and look for a couple of pieces of wood sticking out of the side of the cliff, which should form a narrow path. Taking this path will lead to a vendor that sells up to two Persimmon for 30 Sen each.

While those are the guaranteed sources, the apes in Sekiro all have a chance to drop Persimmon when defeated. If players still want/need more Persimmon, they can farm the Mt. Kongo area and defeat the apes there.

Players only need to give one Persimmon to the Divine Child to complete the quest; the reward being more Rice, though this you will then need to give to the character Kuro, who will in turn use the Rice to make a Sticky Rice Ball. This may not seem that important, but this quest will help players on their way to obtaining one of Sekiro 's four endings.

We here at GameRant have already written up many more guides to help players who might be struggling with Sekiro's difficulty, including several strategies for defeating the many bosses that plague the land, with the latest being how to beat Snake Eyes Shirahagi.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available right now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
