Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has made waves since the Japan-based game released this March. It built a reputation for its tough boss battles, exceptional difficulty, and a fantastic art direction. The game's unforgiving nature has prompted an industry-wide discussion on difficulty, which makes streamer Faraaz Khan's recent feat all the more impressive: he's beaten Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice without taking any damage at all.

Casually stating that it was "pretty rough", the streamer - who's well-known for achieving difficult feats like beating Dark Souls without getting hit - took about 1 hour and 40 minutes to get through the game, which is impressive enough in and of itself.  What's more is that Faraaz was reading viewer comments and opening dialogue with fans while progressing through the game, an act which one thinks would distract from the extremely difficult task at hand.

In any event, it's another impressive feather in Khan's cap. The player smartly used Kuro's Charm throughout his no-damage run, which prevents chip damage from blocking. While some fans are already clamoring for Khan to attempt a damageless run without the use of Kuro's Charm, it's fair to say the talented gamer has done enough for now.

It was just one week ago that Khan beat Sekiro without dying, a timeline which shows just how dedicated the gamer is to his craft. In less than a month after the game's release, he's gone from beating the game without dying to beating it without even taking damage. It's not certain what challenge Khan will take on next, though one thing is clear: he probably isn't afraid of any challenge that fans can throw his way.

Of course, other streamers have impressed the community in different ways, too. One streamer named danflesh111 managed to beat Sekiro in an under one hour, skipping through cutscenes and mowing down difficult bosses in a matter of minutes. There's evidently a talented base of From Software fans out there upping the ante on a weekly basis, so it'll be exciting to see what streamers like Faraaz Khan will do next.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
