None of the characters in Seinfeld are good people. As fun as they are to watch, no one should ever model their behavior after any of the leads. George Costanza is an especially repugnant character. His rap sheet of bad acts stretches for miles.

He is so bad, the best things happen to him when he decided for an episode to do the exact opposite of what his intuition told him. The entries below are just a fraction of his total indiscretions. Though he is reprehensible, he is still an incredibly funny character.

10 Eliminates His Fiance

  • Episode: The Invitations (Season 7, Episode 24)

During the whole seventh season, George is engaged to Susan but desperately wants out. He tries to postpone the date and even tries to be unfaithful to her. He only gets out of the wedding after Susan succumbs to poison from licking too many envelopes while preparing the wedding invitations.

The kicker is that George picked out the invitations. He didn't intend to kill her, but his reaction to her untimely demise was oddly enthusiastic. At the end of the episode, he then tries to call up Marisa Tomei and arrange a date with her.

9 Has Jerry Call In A Bomb Threat

  • Episode: The Nap (Season 8, Episode 18)

George is notorious for doing nothing at his job, but he still manages to keep a good position with the Yankee organization. His laziness goes to a whole new level when he modifies his desk to comfortably sleep under it.

However, during one nap George Steinbrenner comes in and starts waiting for George in his office. To prevent getting in trouble, he asks Jerry to call in a bomb threat so the place is evacuated. It is not the first time George has enacted schemes to try and get out of work.

8 Almost Ends A Boy Trapped In A Bubble

  • Episode: The Bubble Boy (Season 4, Episode 7)

A boy with a medical condition that causes him to live in a bubble requests to see Jerry Seinfeld, but through a series of events George ends up playing trivial pursuit with him instead.

After George Costanza says the boy got a question wrong because of a typo on an answer, the kid starts choking him. While trying to get out of the grip, he pops the bubble. The boy survives, at least.

7 Cheats On The Contest

  • Episode: The Finale (Season 9, Episode 23 And 24)

One of the most famous episodes of the series is "The Contest", where the team has a contest to see who can go the longest without pleasuring themselves. Years later during the series finale, all the friends believe they are going to die in a plane crash.

During this ordeal, George admits that he cheated during the contest. It might not seem as bad as the other things on the list, but there is something particularly low about lying to one's friends.

6 Gives Substances To His Boss

  • Episode: The Revenge (Season 2, Episode 7)

Everybody has had bad bosses sometime in their career, but it never justifies spiking their drink. George Costanza does just this after being fired, though he technically quits beforehand.

The sad thing is George was rehired moments before his boss drinks from the spiked cup. As bad as this is, George's boss seems like a bad dude and the character would get a better job later in the series.

5 Fakes A Charity

  • Episode: The Strike (Season 9, Episode 10)

George Costanza comes up with a scheme to get around buying gifts for his coworkers during the holiday by making up a fake charity and making donations in other people's names. He comes up with this idea after someone does it to him.

Like all of George's ideas, it comes back to bite him in the end when his boss wants to make a large donation to the charity and hands George a check for a hefty sum of money.

4 Thinks Of Himself During A Fire

  • Episode: The Fire (Season 5, Episode 20)

A fire breaks at out at the birthday party of his girlfriend's son. Instead of being chivalrous, George runs out and leaves everybody behind, pushing people over in the process.

It's hard to judge too harshly unless one has been in a similar situation, but it also is not a major fire and is easily put out. At the end of the episode, a similar thing happens when he thinks a prop gun is real and once again flees without helping anybody.

3 Parks In A Handicapped Spot

seinfeld the handicap spot
  • Episode: The Handicap Spot (Season 4, Episode 22)

To be fair, Kramer pushes George to park in a handicapped spot. Upon returning from their errands, the team finds the car trashed. Unfortunately for George, it is his father's vehicle, so he makes up a lie to not get in trouble with his parents.

The worst part of this action is the woman who had to park in a different spot and ended up getting injured because she was unable to use the spot allocated for her. George and Kramer buy her a new wheelchair, but it is a cheap model that ends up malfunctioning, further injuring the woman.

2 Urinates In A Gym Shower

Jason Alexander as George Costanza in Seinfeld
  • Episode: The Wife (Season 5, Episode 17)

Everything on this list is cringeworthy, but this is the only truly disgusting act. George Costanza urinates in the gym shower and another minor character threatens to tell the manager.

It is hard to blame anyone for doing this because the sight of someone urinating in the shower is genuinely disturbing. Elaine helps George not get in trouble, but this just goes to show that Elaine is not a good person, either.

1 Fakes A Disability

  • Episode: The Voice (Season 9, Episode 2)

After George's employer believes he is disabled, the character does nothing to correct them. Once he is found out, he still refuses to leave the job, causing a small battle of wills between the two.

Before the jig was up, George had his own bathroom and special office. Faking a disability is especially low, even for George. The next job he gets is just the right one for him; nobody at the company has any idea what they are doing either.
