Vinland Saga is one of the most popular seinen series. So far, only the first season of the anime is out, but it has already been confirmed that Vinland Saga will come back for a second season in 2023. If the second season is nearly as good as the first, then the fans are in for a treat.

The story follows a young boy named Thorfinn who looks up to his father. After a sudden turn of events, his father sets out to join the Vikings and Thorfinn decides to sneak aboard his boat. His father has no idea that he is being set up for an ambush. Thors defeats the mercenaries one by one until one of them gets their hands on Thorfinn, which forces the mighty warrior to lay down his arms and results in his death. Vinland Saga is a story of regret, revenge, and finding one's self.

Code Geass is an enthralling series that focuses on Lelouch as he takes on the mighty Britannia Empire.

After gaining the Geass, Lelouch starts to plan the downfall of the Britannia Kingdom. He wants to make the world a better place for his younger sister. On his journey, Lelouch comes across many strong opponents, and he defeats them with his wit. Xin is happy that his friend gets a chance to achieve his dream but unbeknownst to him, Piao is only being used as a body double for the King. When Xin eventually finds out about Piao's fate, he is distraught and frustrated. However, he decides to pull himself back together for the sake of the dream that he and Piao shared. The anime takes the audience through the Warring States Period in China, so there is plenty of action and drama.

Golden Kamuy is set in the early 1900s, and it follows Saichi Sugimoto, a soldier who fought in the Russo-Japanese War. To fulfill the final wish of his dying friend, he looks for gold, but is met with only disappointment.

One day, Saichi's drunken friend blurts out and tells him about an extraordinary amount of gold hidden somewhere in Hokkaido. Without wasting any time, he decides to set out and locate the treasure. On his adventure, Saichi meets an Ainu girl named Asirpa, who tags along on his adventure. Golden Kamuy is a riveting story that has elements of betrayal, friendship, and greed.
