It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The beloved San Diego Comic-Con is back, and Marvel Studios has just taken the stage to reveal when its newest projects will be released. With its collection of Disney Plus series, Marvel Studios has just revealed when some new MCU shows will make their debut and when the next season of others will make their way back to the streaming site.

Starting with the more familiar, the Emmy-nominated show Loki which stars actor Tom Hiddleston has recently started filming for its second season and it was just revealed that the show is set to make its return to Disney Plus sometime during the summer of 2023. Now in regard to the new series, Secret Invasion which will follow the investigation of the Skrulls will be released in the Spring of 2023.

Another show that is set to make its way to Disney Plus during the summer of 2023 is Echo, the Hawkeye spinoff series that will star Alaqua Cox and will also mark the Marvel Cinematic Universe return of past characters from other series like Daredevil (played by Charlie Cox), Kingpin (played by Vincent D’Onofrio), and many others too.

Another major MCU announcement at San Diego Comic-Con made was by Marvel Studios that the Ironheart series which is set to follow the story of a young Black female inventor named Riri Williams (played by Dominique Thorne) as she crafts a suit similar to Iron Man's (played by Robert Downey Jr), will make its way to Disney Plus during the fall of 2023. Following Ironheart's fall release, Agatha: Coven of Chaos which is a spinoff of WandaVision starring Kathryn Hahn will become available for streaming during the winter of 2023.

With the timeline for the release of these series now made crystal clear by Marvel Studios, the anticipation among fans is only set to grow as the season approaches. In the fashion of the new tradition of Marvel-produced series on Disney Plus, these series will definitely make a major mark on the streaming site in their own ways when they are finally released.

Now with more clarity about the series release windows, the wait for what and which characters are on their way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe has begun, and comic film fans are more than excited for what's to come in the very near but distant future in the vast Marvel Cinematic Universe.
