With an impending release just weeks away, the highly-anticipated action-adventure game by Rare, Sea of Thieves, has attracted a great deal of attention from fans. Now, as has so often been the case before other high-profile releases, new details have seemingly leaked online about the game's bundle options and prices.

Two bundles for the Xbox release of Sea of Thieves appeared on a German-language Amazon page, although they have since been taken down. These bundles presented options for purchasing Sea of Thieves along with different Xbox One consoles, lending more evidence to how much Microsoft seemingly believes the game will be a key system-seller for Xbox in 2018.

The first bundle listed the game along with a 1 TB Xbox One X, while the other paired it with a 1TB Xbox One S. Both bundles contained a controller and all of the other normal accouterments sold alongside an Xbox One console. Worth noting is that both bundles appeared to contain physical copies of the game, rather than download codes. Unfortunately, the listing made no mention of including the special custom controller that Microsoft unveiled for Sea of Thieves, though of course this could be bundled at a later date.

The Xbox One X bundle was listed for around 534 Euros. Given the current prices of the Xbox One X in the US, and the exchange rate, such a bundle could be priced around $450-500. The second, cheaper bundle with the Xbox One S did not have a listed price, but again, considering current console prices, could cost closer to $300 in the US. Of course, with any leak, such figures should not necessarily be taken at face value.

While information has previously leaked about Sea of Thieves as a result of datamining, leaks of this sort are more unpredictable when it comes to their veracity. It is always possible that the listing was made in error, and the listed figures may be completely incorrect. That being said, retail outlet listings are a common source of leaks and often prove to be at least close to accurate, if not entirely correct.

Given how much Microsoft has invested so far into marketing for Sea of Thieves, it would not be surprising to see more information about these bundles revealed soon, if they are in fact accurate. No doubt Microsoft will be keen to notify gamers ahead of the game's release of any available bundles or deals that could help them to boost their console sales. In the meantime, fans may have a chance to try out the game ahead of launch if an open beta is in the works as rumored.

Sea of Thieves is scheduled for release on March 20th later this year, on Xbox One and PC.
