Sea of Thieves is an online multiplayer pirate game that allows players to get up to a lot of different mischievous activities, from hunting other pirates to sabotaging their efforts to clear forts of skeletons. Sea of Thieves has built a healthy community for itself in the years since launch, and has started attracting some of the most popular Twitch streamers like xQc and Summit.

Since Sea of Thieves is all about player freedom, it makes sense that the game would catch the eye of Twitch streamers as a fun title to goof around in while talking with chat. Sea of Thieves has also been consistently updated to allow as many playstyles as possible, which allows streamers to play a more chill game if they prefer, or to team up and be a bit more aggressive.

In a recent Twitch stream, popular streamers xQc and Summit returned to the game together, leading to a particular highlight of them hiding on an enemy ship without the ship's crew having any idea. In a post to Reddit highlighting the moment, a video shows the streamers huddled in one corner of the enemy boat's map room as other players come in multiple times and leave without seeing anything.

The streamers use Sea of Thieves' Sleep emote to hide their character models in the corner so the other players won't notice. Summit is no stranger to Sea of Thieves, or to this particular move, as his streams of the game in 2019 were popular and filled with similar moments. The Sea of Thieves community has been growing quite a bit since the title has continued to receive updates, and clips like this one give a clear indicator of the hijinks that are likely contributing to its popularity.

For any players interested in trying Sea of Thieves after seeing the clip, or the many great other moments from the stream, now is a great time to jump into Sea of Thieves as its second season of free content updates is slated to start soon. The game is also a part of Xbox Game Pass on Xbox as well as PC, making it easy to try for any of the service's subscribers. Hopefully, xQc and Summit have more sessions playing the game in the works, as more moments like this would undoubtedly pop up.

Sea of Thieves is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
