SD Gundam Battle Alliance is a multiplayer action role-playing game (otherwise known as an RPG) that is all about using Gundams - large, bulky mechanical suits with machine guns and other weapons - to take down the enemies. A player can rip these enemies apart themselves, or do it with their friends.

A lot of players will be able to instantly pick up the game and be able to enjoy it. However, there are others who might not know what they are doing at first and need some beginner tips in order to ease into the game.

7 Try To Make A Perfect Side Step

As it turns out, side steps are very important to pull off. While it can be difficult for a player to manage a side step (much less a perfect side step) sometimes, the rewards it will give are essential in battle.

If a player can time their side step perfectly, completely dodging the enemy's attack, they will have committed a Perfect Sidestep. This will actually give the player invincibility for a few seconds, giving them a much-needed window of time to give as much damage as possible without retaliation from enemies.

6 Remember The Bosses Are Aggressive

To say that bosses are aggressive in SG Gundam Battle Alliance would be a major understatement, to say the least. There are all sorts of attacks that bosses can and will launch against the player, which can be really difficult for an average player to deal with.

It is best for a player to go into every boss fight knowing full well that they are going to be bombarded from the moment they step in. This will at least ensure that a player keeps their guard up at all times, and will not be caught off guard.

5 Use The D-Pad To Charge A Heal Pack

Luckily, a player will be able to take healing items with them on their journey across the world of SD Gundam Battle Alliance. These healing items are called Health packs, and they are going to be quite necessary to mitigate the pain that their enemies deal.

In order to use a Health pack, a player will have to press down on the D-pad and wait for it to charge up to be used. While this can be really helpful, the charging period can end up causing the player to be vulnerable and open to attacks.

4 Perfect Guards Create Counterattacks

Similarly to a Side Step and the Perfect Side Step, a player can guard against enemy attacks. However, a player can also trigger the guard from enemy attacks just right at the perfect time.

When a player manages to perfectly guard themselves against an incoming enemy attack, this is considered to be a Perfect Guard. If a player can trigger a Perfect Guard, not only will they be able to take no damage at all, but it will also cause a player to be able to counterattack against the enemy.

3 Bring Two AI Partners

SD Gundam Battle Alliance - Three Gundams

A player does not have to go solo in SD Gundam Battle Alliance, even if they are not fighting in multiplayer mode with their friends. They will be able to have AI allies at their disposal.

No player should fight alone in the game. There is no harm in taking any allies with them; a player will be able to have their allies distract the enemy, deal extra damage, or back up the player while they hang in the back and start healing.

2 Activate An SP Attack To Take Down Bosses

While fighting bosses, the player will be whittling away at it for such a long time that they might not even realize that there is something special waiting for them at the end of the fight. When a player gets a boss to deplete their HP bar, they will not be able to attack briefly.

After that, a player needs to use an SP Attack to get the damage numbers up as high as possible. A player can activate SP, they have to press both shoulder buttons (L1 and R1, or whichever buttons they have mapped at the time) at the same time to start it.

1 Use Those Special Attacks

SD Gundam Battle Alliance - Stats

Each mecha suit in SD Gundam Battle Alliance will have a different special attack for a player to use. Usually, a player will have a barrage of projectiles for their special attack, but it is not like every suit has projectiles - there are some suits that have melee attacks, for example.

Special Attacks are great to use for battles, so a player should be able to use them as much as they can. They have high damage (much more than the regular attacks a player can use), and they can be used for a strategy of bursting down the enemy as quickly as possible.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance is available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
