This comedy is about Jack Shepard, a retired superhero named Zoom (played by Tim Allen) who must find the superheroes of tomorrow. With the help of Marsha Holloway (Courteney Cox), he trains four kids whom he believes have the potential to defeat the movie's villain.
Zoom is a film aimed at kids, so adults may find the jokes a bit too childish. However, it is worth watching for its funny moments, plot, and great cast choices. Courteney Cox's character may be a klutz obsessed with comic books, but she's sweet and goofy. Fans will definitely like her in this role.
8 Cocoon: The Return (1988)
The Cocoon: The Return is a sequel to the first movie Cocoon. In the first movie, a group of elderly go swimming in a pool that they didn't know was full of alien cocoons. These cocoons acted as a "fountain of youth" and gave them eternal life. In the second installment, the aliens who had left these cocoons come back to retrieve them with the help of Sara, a scientist played by Courteney Cox.
This science fiction is a heartwarming film with great performances from Courteney and the other actors. It's also fun for fans to see old cast members return for the sequel and see where their characters ended up in life.
7 Bedtime Stories (2008)
Bedtime Stories centers around a hotel handyman named Skeeter Bronson, played by Adam Sandler. He tells bedtime stories to his niece and nephew and realizes that his stories have been coming to life. He takes advantage of that fact until it gets out of hand and disrupts his daily life.
This film works well as a family movie and will offer many laughs to kids and parents. Courteney plays the role of Skeeter's big sister, and she wanted to be a part of the film because she felt the story was heartfelt and whimsical. She also wanted the role because she always has a good time whenever she's working with Adam Sandler.
6 Scream 3 (2000)
Scream 3 follows the movie production of Stab 3, a movie about Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) and the murders of Woodsboro. Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox), Dwight Riley (David Arquette), and some other survivors from the original are in Hollywood for the movie. However, the production gets disrupted when another Ghostface killer appears and goes on a murdering spree.
Several original survivors and Stab 3 casts members are injured or killed in an attempt to find out where Sidney Prescott is hiding. Sidney must come out if she wishes the murders to stop and find the one responsible for them. Although this movie isn't the best of the Scream series, it is still memorable and entertaining.
5 Scream 4 (2011)
Ten years have passed since the killer was taken care of. Sidney (Neve Campbell) is out of hiding and living her best life thanks to her written life story until Ghostface makes a 'friendly' visit. Meanwhile, Jill (Emma Roberts), Sidney Prescott's cousin, and her friends become the next Ghostface's target. Gale (Courteney Cox), and Dwight (David Arquette) are also back to uncover the person behind the mask and help Sidney.
Scream 4 is a cleverly written movie. It's humorous at times, and the kills are perfectly executed. As for the ending, it was a twist that fans didn't expect.
4 Scream 2 (1997)
The second slasher film of the franchise takes place two years after the events of the first one. Sidney (Neve Campbell) is a college student and is still reeling from the traumatic experience. Unfortunately, her nightmare is far from over when another series of murders happen. Along with Dwight, aka Dewey (David Arquette), and Gale (Courteney Cox), they must stop the killer once again.
Sequels are known to be bad, but Wes Craven's Scream 2 successfully defied that trope. Craven managed to win the hearts of many horror fans with its witty and perfectly crafted narrative and kills.
3 Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994)
Jim Carrey stars as Ace Ventura in this comedy. Ace Ventura is a detective who specializes in all things pets and wild animals. Aided by his girlfriend, Melissa Robinson (played by Courteney Cox), he gets tasked with uncovering the mystery behind the kidnapping of a dolphin, a football's mascot, before the big Superbowl.
This movie could be considered a Jim Carrey classic. It's a hilarious and well-written story that many fans will love. Plus, like his many movies, it is Jim Carrey's acting that makes this movie so great. As for Courteney's character, she adds charm to the story.
2 Scream 5 (2022)
The famous slasher film is back with Neve Campbell as Sidney, Courteney Cox as Gale, and David Arquette as Dewey. This time the gang must uncover another Ghostface killer 25 years after the original killings.
With so many movies in the franchise, fans may wonder if the stories will ever lose their edge. However, Scream 5 has proven to be just as successful as its counterparts. This installment is as funny and thrilling as the others, and it will leave their fans shocked with its many plot twists.

The first Scream is about a teenage girl named Sidney (Neve Campbell) whose mother was murdered the previous year. As she is dealing with the loss, her friends are stalked and killed one by one. Sidney must try to survive when the Ghostface killer goes after her next. Meanwhile, a tabloid news reporter Gale (Courteney Cox) tries to help Sidney uncover the truth behind the murders.
Wes Craven's original movie is the best of the franchise because it is still inspiring many creators. The story is well written, and every character played their role effectively. Billy and Stu even remain the more iconic killers of the franchise.
