As expected, the May 7 Inside Xbox presentation pulled the curtain back on some third-party games that are making their way to the Xbox Series X. The presentation included all kinds of games, including horror titles like Scorn, an atmospheric first-person horror game that is in active development for the Xbox Series X.

Even some hardcore horror fans may not remember this, but Scorn was actually first revealed about four years ago. From developer Ebb Software, Scorn has players explore a disturbing world, solve puzzles, and more. The game will utilize psychological horror to make players question everything they see as they explore the game's strange world.

In the Scorn Xbox Series X trailer, players are treated to bizarre, sexually-charged imagery and architecture that wouldn't look out of place in a Ridley Scott Alien movie. The trailer also showcased plenty of disturbing, gory creatures.

The Scorn Xbox Series X trailer ultimately doesn't give much away, but it does set the tone for what will potentially be an absolutely unnerving horror game experience. Whether or not the gameplay can match up to the trailer remains to be seen, but horror game fans should stay tuned for more on Scorn and exactly what it will have to offer.

Scorn is in development for PC and Xbox Series X.
