Historically, PC games have been known to test the limits of home computers when they are the newest of releases, and with companies like Nvidia fulfilling less than 10% of certain graphics card orders during the pandemic, many PC gamers aren't even able to upgrade their computer in order to play these new releases. Bucking the trend, Bandai Namco’s new RPG Scarlet Nexus has very minimal PC requirements in order to run.

The upcoming action role-playing game takes place in a future in which people have gained extra-sensory powers due to hormone hacking. Scarlet Nexus will be released on multiple consoles, but it appears extra care was given to the optimization of the PC release.

Bandai Namco's Steam page for Scarlet Nexus displays the game's minimum requirements and they should be easily met by most computers in use today. The company lists the minimum processor needed as an Intel Core i5-3470 or an AMD FX-8350, with 6 GB of ram required in addition to 50 GB of hard drive space. Simply put, any gamer with a computer less than 10 years old shouldn't have too much trouble running Scarlet Nexus when it is released on June 24.

Of course, as is the case with most PC games, players with superior computers will be able to get more out of the game both in terms of visuals and performance, but any gamers who haven't spent a small fortune on the new AMD RX 6700 XT graphics cards or any similar model will be able to run the RPG just fine. The additional minimum requirements for Scarlet Nexus suggest a Windows 10 operating system, version 11 of Direct X, and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2 GB or AMD Radeon HD 7970 3 GB graphics card.

Scarlet Nexus will be available on June 25, 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
