While his original quirk is telekinesis he eventually learned how to do much more than simply levitate objects.

Even though All Might used up the last of his powers to finally defeat this deadly enemy it was at a great cost since the Symbol of Peace had to retire for good. However, All For One still has his powers and could be able to murder and steal the Quirks of powerful heroes.

Dina's pure Titan is just an even more exaggerated and terrifying reminder of this dark fact.

5 Isabella – The Promised Neverland

Isabella AKA Mama is probably the most terrifying character in The Promised Neverland. This show is one of the darkest shonen animes with many creepy scenes and has a nightmare-inducing story. She worked in the Grace Field House and served as a kind of stepmom and caretaker to the small orphan children under her supervision.

What made Isabella so terrifying and evil is that she wasn't completely crazy and that she could feel love, yet she still decided to serve as Mama to save her life and spend her life manipulating and sacrificing the small children under her care.

Even though Shiro wasn't an evil character originally, and she was only one of the creepy creations of Rinichiro the mad scientist and evil mind behind Deadman Wonderland, she was still a completely horrifying and deadly creature.

2 Muzan Kibutsuji – Demon Slayer

Muzan Kibutsuji was Demon Slayer's most stylish and devious demon in the series. He was one of the most intelligent and skilled killers who also had one of the most powerful blood demon art techniques in his murderous arsenal. Muzan could also change his appearance at will and could turn into a terrifying gigantic beast that was as tall as a three-story building. He was also not only the oldest being in the show who was over a thousand years old but was the first ever human who became a demon because of a dark curse. He used his great knowledge and exceptional powers to torture and murder as many humans as possible.

Dio Brando is one of the strongest and most terrifying characters in shonen anime. Even though JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's powerful villain looks like a muscular young man he's over a hundred years old and one of the few anime characters who died multiple times.

This insanely powerful character has supernatural strength and impressive abilities that are truly terrifying. He can remove and control his own body parts and is even capable of stopping time and even overwriting reality. What puts this incredibly terrifying villain on top of the list are not just his special powers but his high intelligence and the fact that he has no regard for human life and is incapable of feeling remorse.
