Saturnalia takes place in 1989 in the village of Gravoi where citizens are disappearing and an unnerving fog draws close. Players are charged to explore the maze-like location with a flashlight as the only useful tool used to search the village for answers where they will learn the truth about the village's traditions and haunting secrets that lay ahead.

The trailer showcases the real life locations that inspired the game's environment as well as the incredibly unique art style that accompanies the game. Saturnalia will have players controlling a wide range of characters while attempting to solve the mystery with a rogue-like catch. Once all of the player characters are dead the village will reset, with locations and streets mixed around creating an entirely new village to explore, a great twist for fans who like horror games.

Narrated by an unknown female character, the trailer starts off like an average tour of the village but quickly takes an unnerving turn as locations get dark and more sinister and her voice is more oppressive. Saturnalia looks to have a heavy Silent Hill influence with so many unknown variables regarding the story and characters which is sure to add to the anxiety of not knowing what's around the corner.

Saturnalia launches on the Epic Games Store in 2021.
