The Lost City star Sandra Bullock has recently admitted that she doesn’t think she can watch Channing Tatum in Magic Mike 3 after working so closely with him. Bullock and Tatum both co-star alongside one another in the new-action adventure film that follows the character of Loretta Sage (Bullock), a reclusive, popular romance novelist.

Things start to take a turn for the worst when Loretta and her cover model Alan (Tatum) find themselves on an insane jungle escapade after an attempted kidnapping by one of her biggest fans during her latest book tour. Paramount's The Lost City was directed by filmmaker duo Aaron and Adam Nee. The Lost City also features Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe as the antagonist of the film. Since its theatrical debut on March 25th, the movie has received widely positive reviews from both critics and audiences alike at the box office. Although Tatum has had quite a long-standing career in Hollywood, he may be most known for his role in the Magic Mike film series, which happens to be loosely based on his real-life experiences. 2012’s Magic Mike was directed by the famous Steven Soderbergh and follows the character of Mike (Tatum) who struggles to make ends meet by day through his various odd side jobs. By night, however, is when Mike is able to take center stage and showcase his talents.

Mike sees potential in a 19-year-old kid who he ends up taking under his wing, showing him the ropes and guiding him to success. Mike warns him of the potential dangers that come with involving oneself in this sort of crowd, yet he still ends up falling privy to the stripper lifestyle when his romantic relationship with the kid’s sister is in jeopardy. The release of the first Magic Mike was instantly met with lots of attention and love, leading naturally to 2015’s follow-up sequel, Magic Mike XXL. From there, Tatum went on to expand the series even further, by creating and directing a live-show adaptation, Magic Mike Live. The third and last installment in the franchise, Magic Mike's Last Dance, is currently in production, with Tatum, director Soderbergh, and original screenwriter Reid Carolin all set to reunite. Now, in a recent interview on Lorraine, Bullock shared that she isn’t too sure she will be able to watch Magic Mike 3 when it comes out.

Bullock admitted to being both a fan of Magic Mike and of course Tatum himself but revealed that when she first saw the films, he was nothing but a stranger to her. Therefore, after the two have now become fast pals, it’s quite an awkward predicament Bullock finds herself in. She stated, “You know what? I loved it - I loved it a lot, and I loved the second one a lot. I think now that I know him, I don’t know if I’ll be comfortable watching it. It’s going to be weird because you were…someone else when I watched the movies, and now that I know him ‘normally’ - it’s going to be odd watching you do that thing you do.”

However, if Bullock did end up watching Magic Mike 3, it actually wouldn’t be the first time she witnessed Tatum dancing or naked for that matter. There is a hilarious scene in The Lost City where Bullock has to remove leeches from Tatum's completely naked body, so you could say the two are already pretty close. There is no current release date set for Magic Mike 3, but fans can still catch Bullock and Tatum in The Lost City.

The Lost City is in theaters now.
