Though All Saints Day has come and gone, the folks at Volition wanted to make sure that gamers get their fill with some new Saints Row: The Third details and screenshots. It’s only fitting that, in order to celebrate this holiday that focuses on those who did good for our world, that THQ bring gamers tamer images and details that focus more on the nuts-and-bolts of the experience and less on the violence.

The most exciting thing THQ has announced is the in-house development of the PC version of Saints Row: The Third. They admit that the PC version of Saints Row 2 was less than desirable and, in order to correct that, have put developmental duties in Volition’s hands to ensure the product mirrors its console brethren.

Not only that, the PC version allows gamers to, like with the Initiation Station, upload their wackiest Saints Row: The Third memories online using the new Saints Video Record mode. And, if you want to capture a perfect moment, or even create your own piece of machinima, Saints Row: The Third supports removal of the game’s HUD for a cleaner image.

Speaking of the Initiation Station, the previously-in-beta service which allows players to craft every piece of their Saints Row character, from their clothing to their personality, into something truly unique is now available to all. Simply download the Initiation Station on PC, PS3, or Xbox 360 and sync with your account on the Saints Row website for uploading when the game releases.

Our experience with the character creator has yielded some pretty interesting combinations to say the least, and we can’t wait to see what a whole new section of gamers are able to create now that the service is out of beta.

So, not only is Saints Row: The Third going to be balls-to-the-wall awesome on the consoles, but the PC version is going to be offering enough features to potentially sway gamers its way. Add on top of that in-house development by Volition and you have a winning combination for one of this month’s most exciting games.

Does being able to record your Saints Row: The Third exploits sway you into purchasing the PC version? Have you had a chance to check out the Initiation Station and want to share your creation?

Saints Row: The Third releases November 15, 2011 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
