Fans of the Saints Row series will remember that in preparation for the release of Saints Row: The Third, Volition created a trailer series called 'Cherished Memories', which featured some of the more whacky goings-on in Steelport. Along those same lines, Volition has created a new trailer series for Saints Row 4 titled 'Hail to the Chief' which features some of the silliness gamers can get into in virtual Steelport.

However, unlike Cherished Memories, these Hail to the Chief trailers are coming fast and furious at a rate of one a day. So far, Volition has released two trailers; each centered on a different goofy moment in Saints Row 4.

Not only do the short trailers highlight the humor in Saints Row 4, but they also showcase a few of the character customization options available to players. As with Saints Row: The Third, players can create their own version of the player character, only this time they are the President (hence the Hail to the Chief title for the trailers).

One of the ways players will be able to dole out a healthy portion of death and destruction is with Saints Row 4's unique weapons like the dubstep gun. In one of the trailers we can see a completely new weapon that allows players to call in a UFO to abduct objects.

While some might argue that Saints Row 4 isn't enough of an evolution from the previous game, there are plenty of new elements to be excited about. In fact, if you are a fan of the Crackdown series, Saints Row 4's new superpowers might be right up your alley. What do you think of the new Hail to the Chief trailers for Saints Row 4? Is there any element from this game that you would like to see more of?
