The latest game in the LittleBigPlanet series, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, is performing well as a launch title for the PS5. With all the things players can do in Sackboy, there's a solid variety of activities for players to engage with, and there's more on the way.

PlayStation recently announced that Sackboy: A Big Adventure will be launching its own tournament series on the PS5. The post states that the Sackboy: Knit-Speedrun Challenges are part of a new PlayStation Tournaments series available through the PS5 Challenge activity cards. The series will feature various challenges for players to participate in. The tournament started on May 1st and will continue from May to January 2022.

According to the post, the tournament series will feature five never-before-seen monthly obstacle courses for players in the LittleBigPlanet game. Each of the challenges will last for one month and will have unlimited attempts. Players will need to race through various obstacles as quickly as they can, and the fastest will be able to climb the leaderboards for the game. Only players' fastest time will appear on the leaderboards.

Players' progress will be tracked through the online leaderboards for the tournament series. The game will have new challenges for players to compete in and new prizes to earn every two months. Players will even be able to challenge their friends in Sackboy: A Big Adventure's multiplayer and show off their skills to each other for the tournament or just for fun.

To participate in the tournament series, players will need to open Game Hub for Sackboy: A Big Adventure on the PS5. Then for in-game sign-up, they go to the Knitted Knight Trials through the menu or the game's world map. After that, players just need to press the triangle button and they will be all set to compete in the monthly challenge.

The prize tiers for the tournament series will be organized into five categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Bronze tier awards collectibles for participating, while Silver grants a costume piece to the top 50% of player entrants. The last three tiers also offer a costume piece, with Gold tier for the top 30% of entrants, Platinum for the top 15%, and Diamond for the top 5%. Players can earn prizes from their current tier and every other tier at the end of each of the five trials.

The post also provides an extensive list of countries and territories, and any players from them will be able to earn exclusive in-game prizes throughout the whole challenge. However, the post doesn't state what the exclusive prizes will be.
