When PlayStation initially released the PS5, Sumo Digital's Sackboy: A Big Adventure was among the launch titles. Sackboy: A Big Adventure has received some post-launch content, and now it's giving away free DLC costumes for returning players.
Wario64 has shared with their community that there are two free DLC costumes joining the cosmetic options in Sackboy: A Big Adventure. Since the game was released in 2020, Sackboy: A Big Adventure players have been able to customize their Sackboy with various in-game costumes. Some other Sackboy: A Big Adventure costumes players can unlock include a Horizon: Forbidden West Aloy, two based on The Last of Us, and Jin from Ghost of Tsushima.
Taking some cues from two early Fortnite skins, the free Sackboy: A Big Adventure DLC costumes are a green T-Rex and orange Triceratops. Like with other costumes in Sackboy: A Big Adventure, the titular character's face is visible from inside the mouth of these dinosaurs as if he had been swallowed whole, with his jaw-dropped expression in the T-Rex and a big frown inside the Triceratops. Both new costumes can be downloaded for free on the PlayStation Store and can be used in Sackboy: A Big Adventure today for players that have the PlayStation exclusive, and fans that don't have the game yet can sit on these freebies until they do own it.
The Sackboy: A Big Adventure costumes are strictly cosmetic and don't change up the gameplay dynamics in any way, allowing players to continue platforming in the fresh attire without running into any hiccups. These dinosaur-themed costumes may not be the last freebies added to the PlayStation Store to entice lapsed Sackboy: A Big Adventure players to return. Although LittleBigPlanet cosmetics haven't carried over to Sackboy: A Big Adventure, the Sackboy franchise may open the door to skins being forwarded to the next title.
