Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds told a fan not to rent Green Lantern, the movie he starred in in 2011. The movie got its own video game, called Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters, but the two releases did not get very positive reviews.

On Twitter, a fan asked Reynolds if they should rent Green Lantern as the movie is on sale for just $0.99 on Apple TV. While it has been nearly a decade since the film was released, Reynolds maintains his negative feelings towards it, telling the fan to "walk away."

Reynolds' tweet about the film got a mixed response from fans. Some called the movie "fun" and said that the actor looks great in his Green Lantern suit. Others though, said that they also feel that the Green Lantern movie isn't very good and that the fan looking for a new movie to rent should just watch Deadpool and Deadpool 2.

However superhero movie fans feel about Green Lantern, it seems that Reynolds is happy to keep the film in the past. The actor is also in talks to star in Netflix's live-action Dragon's Lair film and Deadpool 3 has also been announced. These will likely bring the actor more joy than his 2011 superhero outing.
