As it stands, Nvidia is currently under scrutiny from several enormous company's, as well as governing bodies, over its attempts at acquiring the UK chip manufacturer ARM. However, things are still business as usual for Jensen Huang and his company, especially given that Nvidia is rumored to be working on its 4000 series, which will usher in the next generation of graphics cards. But until that point, another rumor suggests it may be about to release yet another Ti product.

According to a recent report, which cites a tweet from an account that focuses on PC news, it's possible that Nvidia may be getting ready to launch the 3090 Ti, a slightly more souped up version of its RTX 3090, which is considered one of the most powerful graphics cards on the current market. There are no confirmations as of yet, but it's been speculated that the new Ti will offer a slight increase on its predecessor, specifically that it will have 21Gb/s memory over the 3090's 19.5Gb/s, as well as having 10,752 CUDA cores as opposed to 10,496 featured in the other card. Most of the other specs, such as VRAM and bus, will supposedly remain the same.

Given how powerful the Nvidia RTX 3090 graphics card is, it simply means that the Ti will be a bit of an improvement. There's no certainty when it will release, if it is indeed in the works, but the report states it could be out as early as January 2022. This puts it alongside the launch of Intel's Arc Alchemist GPU, at least the laptop versions which are scheduled for launch in Q1 2022, with the desktop cards coming later in the year.

On top of that, it also seems that Nvidia may be readying its RTX 3050, which, again, will be coming in early 2022. While "team green" is generally at loggerheads with AMD, the fact that a number of products are allegedly coming round about the time Intel's GPUs hit the market, it does suggest that Nvidia is keen to squash the new competition before it even has a chance to make any dent in the industry.

Of course, with the tech shortages still expected to rage on until maybe 2023, it all boils down to whether or not customers can get hold of any new product that Nvidia, or any manufacturer, is keen to put out. Still, it does mean that gamers and PC enthusiasts will likely have a lot of graphics cards to choose from over the coming months, providing they can source any of it.
