The Long Rest is an Insight in Rogue Legacy 2 that players can initiate by repeatedly reading a book in the Sun Tower. To resolve the quest, fans must return to the base of this biome, though some players may be confused about what is to be done upon arriving in this room. This guide is here to shine some light on the matter, and it should make it quite easy for fans to complete Rogue Legacy 2's The Long Rest Insight.

Rogue Legacy 2: The Long Rest Insight Solution

As previously noted, the first step toward resolving this Insight is to travel to the base of the Sun Tower. For full clarity, this is the biome's first room, and it is home to a teleporter and is entered from Rogue Legacy 2's Axis Mundi biome. After arriving in this room, players should void dash through the barrier on the left, spin kick on the spinning metal hazard to ascend, and break through the next barrier that they encounter.

At this point, players would typically dash into the purple torches to proceed up into the Sun Tower, though that is not what they should do when working on the Long Rest Insight. Instead, roguelite fans should target the wall that is just to the right of the first purple torch with a class ability or spell. This action will give players access to a path behind the wall, and they should pass through it and spin kick on the spinning hazard that they encounter to reach a small ledge.

When standing upon this ledge, Rogue Legacy 2 players can use a talent or spell to break through the wall that is directly next to them to reveal a path. This path leads to a door, and fans will be prompted to press the use input when they are standing in front of it. While players will find a bit of lore in the room that is beyond this door, they will not resolve the Long Rest Insight by engaging with it, and they must now return to the ledge that they were standing on previously.

From this position, Rogue Legacy 2 characters should jump and then use a spell or ability on the wall. Indeed, there is a second path above the first one, and it leads to another door. Again, fans will find some lore past the door, and they will complete the Long Rest quest, and earn their +15% damage boost against Estuary Irad, after interacting with the memory fragment.

Rogue Legacy 2 is available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
