There is a unique chamber in Rogue Legacy 2's Stygian Study that is filled with clouds. This room is connected to the Poisonous Thoughts Insight, and players that resolve it will gain +15% damage against Estuary Enoch, the biome's boss. For those players that are confused about how they are meant to address Rogue Legacy 2's Stygian Study cloud room, this guide is here to shine some light on the matter.

Rogue Legacy 2: Stygian Study Cloud Room Solution

While there are a couple of ways to approach the Stygian Study cloud room, the simplest is to press the interact button (RB on a controller) when standing anywhere in the room. Indeed, this action will cause a bridge to appear, and players can use it to travel through the clouds and to a structure on the right side of the room. To enter this structure, roguelite fans must use Void Dash, which is earned by collecting the Pallas' Void Bell Heirloom in the Stygian Study, to break through the black and purple barrier.

Once inside the structure, Rogue Legacy 2 players should jump up to the memory fragment in the top-right corner. Interacting with that orb will cause some text to appear, and fans will receive indication that they have resolved the Poisonous Thoughts Insight after clicking through it. For some players, this will be the first time that they have seen anything in-game about this particular quest, and further details on it can be found in the following section.

Rogue Legacy 2: Poisonous Thoughts Insight

The Poisonous Thoughts Insight in Rogue Legacy 2 is initiated through another unique chamber in the Stygian Study. More specifically, the room of interest is the one with three doors and two void barriers at its center, and players must use Void Dash to enter the middle door. Through this door, fans will find a room filled with books that they can interact with, and one of those books will be facing in the opposite direction from that of the others. Interacting with that book over the course of several runs will start the Poisonous Thoughts quest.

As previously noted, the reward for completing this Insight is a damage boost when fighting Estuary Enoch. While it is certainly not requisite that players obtain this bonus, it will undoubtedly be appreciated by those that are struggling with the boss. And if a fan is still unable to bring Enoch down after they have resolved the quest, they can always farm gold in Rogue Legacy 2 and return to the fight with more upgrades unlocked.

Rogue Legacy 2 is available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
