With all of the excitement surrounding E3 2018, many gamers may be looking forward to some form of confirmation that Rocksteady Studios is working on a Superman game. Considering Rocksteady's work on the Batman: Arkham series, the idea of an Arkham-like Superman is tantalizing, and if recent rumors are correct, it could very well be delivered as Superman: World's Finest.

Beyond the title, the leaker also supported other rumors that Brainiac would be the primary antagonist, as well as the game being properly announced during Microsoft's E3 press conference. Moreover, it was also stated that the game would be single player only and include other DC heroes, with the World's Finest subtitle suggesting a team-up with Batman.

Of course, these factors sound very reminiscent of the Batman: Arkham series, potentially giving these rumors some credibility. Moreover, what makes this leak unique is that it is accompanied by an image with the game's supposed title across the background of Superman's cape. While this leak seems rather convincing, especially in the context of the successful Arkham series, it should be taken with a healthy grain of salt. Check out the leak below:

The question becomes, after seeing this leak, whether it can be trusted or not. Unfortunately, there's not enough information to give the leaker or the details leaked any credibility. It originated on 4chan and has been circulating online, so it could easily be anybody making claims about the highly desired Superman game. However, there's nothing to really disprove this rumor either.

It's also worth mentioning that Superman rumors have been debunked before, like when it was rumored that Rocksteady's Superman would be the December cover story for Game Informer. Hopefully, when Microsoft begins its E3 conference, the existence of the game and the accuracy of these details will be addressed, but until then, we simply don't know. Microsoft's conference is slated for Sunday, June 10, at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM BST.

Superman: World's Finest is rumored to be in development.
