Batman Arkham developer Rocksteady Studios has been working on its new game for some time and according to a new rumor, it may be ready to reveal it this week. The new game may be called Outlaws and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive is gearing up for a major marketing push for the title.

Originally posted on 4Chan before being reposted to ResetERA and being passed around on social media is a "teaser" image that says that Outlaws will have its "World Premiere" on April 26 (this Friday). The background of the image is of the Gotham City skyline and features the Wayne Enterprises tower in the center. The bottom of the image features the trademarks of DC Comics and Epic Games suggesting that if Outlaws is a real game and this image isn't a fake, it will be an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC.

Outlaws may refer to "Red Hood and the Outlaws," the name of the DC Comics series where Red Hood (Jason Todd), Starfire, and Arsenal (Green Arrow's former sidekick) team up to form "The Outlaws." While the first volume received a heavy negative response from critics and fans, the second volume of Red Hood and the Outlaws has been received much better. An Outlaws game could also get new, non-comic readers to take interest and to get readers who ignored it because of its poor reviews to take another look at this cast of characters.

Rocksteady Studios Outlaws leak image

Some are connecting this leak to an earlier leak that Rocksteady Studios is making a Suicide Squad game. That leak suggested that the game will be revealed on June 4, 2019 (one week before E3) and would be a "games as a service" style online multiplayer title with loot, customization, and raid missions too. The different announcement dates cast doubt on these being the same game, both from Rocksteady Studios, but the Outlaws image for April 26 may have been created before the June 4 marketing plan was written.

The legitimacy of the Outlaws leak hasn't been confirmed yet. However, the interest surrounding the leaks and the way that fans are sharing their wishlists confirms that there is huge interest around a new DC game from Rocksteady Studios. Rocksteady has said that its next game will blow the minds of its fans and fans are just about ready for the developer to show off what it has been working on for so long.
