Several new images pulled from Rockstar Games' website, via its various menus, are making their way around the internet Friday morning. Unclear about the images' nature or origin, Rockstar fans began to speculate whether the images might be related to an in-development Rockstar project or something equally teaser-y. Disappointingly, it appears they're nothing of the sort. Before these images spread and cause more confusion, the images are very likely exactly what they seem: cool Rockstar logos and not game teasers.

Three images in total are being looked at as potential new Rockstar game teasers by fans. All three features the Rockstar Games logo, as well as some art or theme beyond it. In other words, they all look unique and like they could be teaser images, but really they're just well-made Rockstar logos with a lot of artistic talent behind them.

One logo in question is drawing more eyes than the other two. The logo is red, white, and blue and features a lot of cryptic text on it. The text includes prose including "Killing Dreams, Murdering Hope, Fighting the Righteous, Bullying the Week," which some read as a potential reference to Bully. The thing is, this prose has reportedly been on the Rockstar website since 2013. The new logo appears to be just a stylized way of showing some off some of Rockstar's past mottos.

The other two images are equally stylized. One features the Rockstar Games logo with a "sexy" robot embracing it. The robot is in the style of Hajime Sorayama's classic 80s series of illustrations. The second logo is like a neon light sign concept meets a maze, or perhaps a city.

The important takeaway is that all three images are simply Rockstar logos. They're great pieces of art, too. They definitely hint at many of the ideas that Rockstar puts into its video games. But they aren't likely to be directly related to any ongoing projects.

While the new logos aren't likely related, that doesn't mean that Rockstar isn't working on a new game or even games. There are rumors about the next Grand Theft Auto, rumors about a Bully sequel, an odd teaser from a hip-hop group for summer 2020, and even a rumor about a new game set in medieval times. None of these rumors has led to an official announcement yet, but it's just a matter of time. It just doesn't have anything to do with these Rockstar logos, it seems.
