Apparently, Rockstar Games gave a Christmas gift to some of its employees that featured various badges and things based on Rockstar and its games. One of these employees posted the goodies on Twitter, and some of the badges caught the attention of fans. That employee has since made their Twitter account private, but that hasn't stopped the image from circulating online and fueling speculation about how the badges may hint at Grand Theft Auto 6's location.

The badges feature the Rockstar Games logo with a Jamaican flag background, as well as one with the Colombian flag. This is notable because various Grand Theft Auto 6 "leaks" from the past few months have claimed that the game will be set in South America. Of course, it's quite possible and just as likely that the badges mean nothing, so fans should certainly keep that in mind before getting too excited.

This is far from the first time that we've heard rumors of Grand Theft Auto 6 being set in South America. Rockstar itself has seemingly hinted at the possibility, with the GTA Online Diamond Heist trailer making reference to the continent. It could just be coincidence, a genuine tease, or Rockstar trolling rumormongers.

The Grand Theft Auto 6 location may not be the only thing that Rockstar has hinted at recently. Some fans also think they've spotted the possible Grand Theft Auto 6 release date hiding in the GTA Online Diamond Heist content. Just like with the GTA 6 location, the release date hint could be genuine, fans looking too much into things, or Rockstar just trolling people.

As it stands, Rockstar Games has yet to officially announce Grand Theft Auto 6, so fans should take any information about the game with a grain of salt. But with Grand Theft Auto 5 having released over six years ago at this point, it's hard to fault fans for looking for any bit of information they can about Rockstar's next game.

Fans should also keep in mind that it's possible Rockstar's next game isn't even Grand Theft Auto 6 at all, but rather a different project entirely. Reports have indicated that Rockstar has multiple new games in development, with some rumors pointing to Rockstar's next game being Bully 2. Whatever the case may be, hopefully we get an official announcement in 2020 so some of the rumors can be put to rest.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is rumored to be in development for unspecified platforms.
