Rockstar Games recently updated its website to include some new artwork, fueling speculation that a new game announcement could be right around the corner. Rockstar still hasn't announced anything official in the way of a new video game, but now there's even more evidence that a game reveal could come sooner rather than later.

The official Rockstar Games YouTube channel currently has two videos that are marked as private. Oftentimes companies will do this when they upload a new video that they aren't ready to show just yet. Now, these videos could be literally anything. Perhaps they're commercials for existing Rockstar Games products. Maybe the videos are for GTA Online DLC or some sort of new features coming to Red Dead Online. However, it's also possible that the videos are related to Rockstar's next game, whatever that may be.

Red Dead Redemption 2 launched in 2018, and so fans are getting anxious for news on Rockstar's next project. The prevailing theory is that Rockstar's next game is Grand Theft Auto 6, though that remains to be seen. Rumors have pointed to Grand Theft Auto 6 having multiple cities, being set in the 80s or 90s, and revolving around the story of a drug dealer, but again, nothing has actually been confirmed by Rockstar and fans should take all rumors with a grain of salt.

Besides Grand Theft Auto 6, another game that's been rumored to be Rockstar's next project is Bully 2. However, leaks point to a version of Bully 2 having been in development a decade ago, only for it to be scrapped. No leaks from credible sources since then have given any real indication that Bully 2 has resumed development, but fans have been holding out hope nevertheless.

Bully references in GTA Online are largely responsible for fueling more recent speculation that Rockstar's next game could be Bully 2, but it's just as likely that they are just meant to be fun easter eggs for hardcore fans. Even so, some fans definitely read a lot into these things, and assume that it equates to Rockstar teasing a real project.

It's impossible to say with certainty at this point what Rockstar Games is working on, beyond that it is indeed working on something. Hopefully Rockstar will shed some light on its next projects sooner rather than later so fans can stop speculating and the rumor mill can quiet down.
