Rockstar Games has been adding content for Grand Theft Auto: Online that players can indulge in while the world remains shut down due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. For instance, logging into the game at any time throughout the month of May will award players $500,000 of free in-game money. Rockstar is also currently offering double the rewards on biker-related events until May 13.

This biker bonuses event, which began on May 7, affects Biker Sell Missions, Clubhouse Contracts, and Rockstar Transform Races. Completing the prior two kinds of activities offers double rewards for GTA Online players, while Transform Races involving "supercars, motorcycles, airplanes and more" offer 2x GTA$ and reputation.

While Rockstar Games' official marketing for the event describes it as perfect for "those whose lives revolve around contraband, weaponry and straddling a steel horse," having additional legitimate sources of income and items within the game is likely a big selling point for fans. After a recent glitch involving casino chips was discovered in the online game, Rockstar began to wipe player's accounts as punishment if they chose to utilize it — everything from cash to characters.

In the same newswire announcing the bikers bonuses event, Rockstar also brought attention to the $500,000 log-in bonus, the opportunity to win a Coil Cyclone car from the Lucky Wheel chance event in The Diamond Casino & Resort, as well as discounts available for various cars and motorcycles. The developers also point out that players connecting their Twitch prime accounts will reward them with a rebate on the Pixel Pete's Arcade base property, as well as discounts on even more vehicles, much like id Software will be offering Twitch Prime users a Mullet Slayer skin in Doom Eternal.

As part of its efforts to give players more to do during these trying times, Rockstar has also implemented more story content into GTA Online. The most prominent of which was Gerald's Last Play mission set, which focuses on helping a drug dealer in GTA's equivalent of Los Angeles prepare for a potential black market recession.

However, while many of these offerings are serious, others have more of a goofy twinge. An apparent gang war between players dressed in green and purple alien-faced morph suits has broken across the game, and Rockstar decided to make each outfit free to help more fans get in on the fun.
