Thanksgiving has finally arrived and it's time for the Black Friday sales to begin, with Rockstar Games already gearing up to offer cheap games and custom gear to its extensive fan-base over the next few days. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, the developer will be reducing the cost of many items in its online store, and offering added incentive to pick up a new copy of best-seller Grand Theft Auto 5.

This Friday 24 - Monday 27 the annual Rockstar Warehouse Thanksgiving Weekend sale will begin, offering a huge 40% off all games in the developer's backlog. The only titles exempt from this deal include the new version of L.A. Noire for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, as well as pre-orders for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2.

All of the company's gear and collectable items in its online store are also reduced, including items from the GTA 5 collection and this year's Summer Collection of Rockstar Games logo tees. Any players who decide to finally pick up their very own copy of the most-recent Grand Theft Auto will also receive a bonus cash drop of $1.25 million to begin customizing their GTA Online character, meaning that there's never been a better time to be a patient gamer.

Those who already own Grand Theft Auto 5 can upgrade their online bank accounts with a quick cash infusion, courtesy of the Rockstar's 25% off Megalodon or 20% off Whale Shark Cards for PC. There are certainly some significant deals to be found in the Thanksgiving Weekend sale and fans of the popular developer should take full advantage when the deals launch tomorrow.

For those gamers who are looking forward to the highly-anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 but never had the chance to try out the original for themselves, now is the perfect time to grab a copy of John Marston's epic adventure before meeting returning characters in the game's sequel. The upcoming Western will feature new protagonist Arthur Morgan and will likely be a standalone game to bring in new fans, but a little knowledge of the title's history might end up making the experience all the better when it finally launches.

The Rockstar Thanksgiving Weekend sale begins on Friday November 24 at 12:01AM ET/ November 23rd 21:01PM PT and runs until 11:59PM ET/ 20:59PM PT  on November 27.
