With season 3 just around the corner, there's never been a better time to be a Rocket League player. The official start date for the new season is April 7th, but as fans have been preoccupied with the current music themed season 2, there hasn't been much information on what the next season will entail until now. Season 3 will be auto racing themed, and come with a whole host of new cars, stadiums, and other content for players to engage with.

Rocket League's new season will also contain a few crossovers, more specifically with NASCAR and F1. Throughout the course of the season, players will gain access to new bundles that contain new cars that fit in line with the crossovers. Players will be able to purchase the NASCAR and F1 bundles from the in early May and mid May respectively.

The main draw of this new season, though, is the reward for doing the new battle pass. Those dedicated players will gain access to a new battle car called the Tyranno, an auto racer with a Dominus hit box. Although these three cars are all that have been officially revealed, there may well be more available throughout the course of season 3.

Rocket League Season 3 details unveiled

Finally, DFH Stadium is getting a redesign for season 3. The new DFH Stadium (Circuit) adds another track and spices up the Rocket League arena with auto racing paraphernalia to set the mood. This new variation will be available in casual and competitive playlists, private matches, and freeplay, so expect to see it a lot in season 3.

Rocket League is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
