Last year, Nintendo released Ring Fit Adventure, a Switch-exclusive exercise game that earned rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Ring Fit Adventure is hard to find in stores as people are using it to exercise at home during the coronavirus pandemic, but those that do have the game have a new free update to look forward to today.

Announced during Nintendo's surprise Nintendo Direct presentationRing Fit Adventure's free update gives players a female voice option for their Ring partner, new languages, and a new jogging option that lets them run through courses and skip battles. However, the headlining piece of new content is definitely the new Rhythm Game Mode.

Just as its name implies, the Ring Fit Adventure Rhythm Game Mode turns its exercise gameplay into a rhythm game. It sports a variety of styles, so players can work different parts of their body while playing. Ring Fit Adventure's Rhythm Game Mode has 17 music tracks at launch, including "Jump Up, Superstar!" from Super Mario Odyssey, as well as music from Splatoon 2The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and even Wii Fit.

This new free update for Ring Fit Adventure is available for fans to download now.

Ring Fit Adventure is out now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
