Riders Republic is one of Ubisoft's newest IPs, with it being a multiplayer extreme sports game. A closed beta is set to begin some time before the game's launch, aiming to give players a chance to test out the vehicles, along with the game's giant open world. For fans anticipating the full launch of Riders Republic however, another delay has been given for the game.

A new trailer of Riders Republic was shown off at the Ubisoft Forward Event during E3, showcasing some new details. This includes the player being able to participate in different events, using a variety of vehicles such as bikes, snowboards, and wingsuits. The initial release date that was given in the trailer was unveiled to be September. However, in a new message from the development team, this game's release date will be pushed back by about a month.

This is the second time that the game has been delayed, as the first delay for Riders Republic was given when it was originally going to be released in February. According to the developers, this delay will allow them to further fine tune the experience, along with giving fans the chance to participate in more betas before the game launches. These betas will also allow fan feedback to be submitted to help with the game's development. As such, this release date has moved from September 2 to October 28.

Riders Republic is quite ambitious in scope, being a massive multiplayer sports game. The developers are promising 50 player racing matches on next-gen consoles, along with an arena mode where players can perform several tricks in order to rack up points. This game's open world also uses many different American parks as its setting, which are all on a single map. Many similar open world games by Ubisoft require a huge amount of polish and this delay can give the developers the proper amount of testing needed to ensure a smooth experience for players.

There's been a lot of delays announced these past few months for a lot of different games, Riders Republic being no exception. That said, for those who are anticipating this game's release, Descenders is another extreme sports title that is available to play. Both games revolve around extreme sports with different approaches. Riders Republic goes for a more crazy and silly vibe, while Descenders aims to give a more grounded and technical gameplay experience.

Riders Republic will be launching on October 28 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Stadia.
