The ever-popular television series Rick and Morty has had a video game in the works for some time now, originally telling fans the game would release on 4/20 for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, but is now also coming to fans on the PlayStation VR on April 10 with a collector’s edition.

Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality is an “adventure video game that immerses [players] in the strange and unusual word of Rick and Morty.” Players will see themselves as a clone of Morty, which will put them in perilous situations, such as crossing dimensions, to alien planets, and even knocking on death’s door, which seems very common for the series.

Players will “solve puzzles, get yelled at by Rick, and even fix an intergalactic car.” So, it seems like a basic day in the life of Morty. There’s also much to do in the game, however, what that is has not been confirmed yet, but all of the fan’s favorite characters seem to be included in the game.

Players are able to purchase the standard game as a regular retail release, as pictured below. This version just comes with the standard game, however, all the components of the PlayStation VR are needed beforehand and are not sold with the game.

For the collector’s edition of Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality, players will see a lot more included. This edition comes with a Funko Pop! Figure of Rick and an exclusive two-sided poster as well as the game itself, as pictured below.

There is no confirmed price of the collector’s edition, but hopefully, it won’t be something to break the bank of Rick and Morty fans. However, the original price point for the game when initially announced was $29.99 for just the game itself so the standalone game should hopefully be something similar.

With a lot of new content coming to the PlayStaion VR recently, Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality comes as no surprise. The fanbase for the series is huge and it almost seems as if it was a no-brainer to bring it to PlayStation, as well as other gaming outlets.

Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality will release digitally and in-stores for PS VR on April 10, as well April 20 for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
