In this day and age where social distancing and staying at home are quickly becoming the norm, people have been relying more on having things delivered to their homes, which has resulted in an unprecedented workload for delivery drivers across the board. That’s why it’s so nice that developers at Respawn Entertainment have found a small but sweet way to help them out.

On Reddit, a photo has made the rounds showing that some of the studio’s developers have been leaving games and movies outside their doors for delivery drivers to take while they drop things off. These titles (which of course include some of Respawn’s own games like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Apex Legends) come neatly arranged in a bright blue container.

The developers also left a handwritten note for them as well, which reads, “If you are delivering a package, please help yourself to a free movie or video game! We are game developers working from home for Respawn Entertainment. Thank you for working so hard!” What’s more, the letter stresses that everything had been wiped with cleaning wipes before being put outside.

Although the Reddit post was met with some replies jokingly accusing it of actually being a piece of marketing by Respawn (as well as poking fun at how Apex Legends is already available for free), most agree that it is a kind gesture on the developers’ part, and these days even small gestures like that can make this time of quarantine easier to deal with.
