Arguably Resident Evil Village’s most terrifying and iconic moment takes place midway through the game, as Ethan Winters enters the Beneviento House, where he is stripped of all his defenses and left to fend for himself. Perhaps in an attempt to one-up the fear factor, Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose sees Rose Winters return to the haunted house to similarly solve a variety of unsettling puzzles.

One such puzzle begins after cutting open the stuffed animal in the Workshop to retrieve the Relief of a Child. At this point, the lights will go out, and players will hear Angie the Doll’s wicked laughter on the radio. When the lights come back, the room will have changed, and in front of Rose will be a Campfire Diorama that requires completing.

This guide will show players where to find all the dolls needed to solve the diorama puzzle and get the Breaker Box Key in Resident Evil: Shadows of Rose.

How to Complete the Toilet Diorama

Unlike Resident Evil's simpler puzzles, players must acquire four more dolls spread throughout the house and complete a number of different dioramas in order to get their hands on them, starting with the Toilet Diorama found in the Medicine Room.

Before beginning, turn to the left of the Campfire Diorama in the Workshop to find the doll labeled “Lucy” on a desk beside a note, but don’t do anything with it yet.

Next, take the Relief of a Child grabbed from the stuffed animal and exit the workshop, heading down the hallway from which players entered. Following it, players can find the Relief Door to the left, where they can slot in the Relief of a Child to open it.

Inside this Storage room is the Birthday Diorama, upon which sits a doll named “Catherine.” Take it and head into the Medicine Room adjacent to the Workshop.

Inside is the Toilet Diorama, where two empty spots sit, waiting to be occupied by dolls. Place the Catherine doll on the right and the Lucy doll on the left to complete the Toilet Diorama.

How to Complete the Birthday Diorama

Finishing the Toilet Diorama will unlock a drawer containing Jimmy’s Room Key. Pick it up and take the Lucy and Catherine doll, too, and continue to explore Resident Evil Village's eerily quiet locale.

Back in the Workshop, follow the corridor in the corner of the room to a red door on which Rose can use Jimmy’s Key.

Entering the room, venture down the steps and into a small, dark room with a well. Use Rose’s power to clear the Core blocking the well and climb down the ladder to descend it. At the bottom, players can find a third, unlabeled doll that they can presume is Jimmy.

With the three dolls in hand, head back to the Storage room in the hallway behind the Relief Door.

Atop the Birthday Diorama are three spots to fill; place Jimmy in the middle next to the present, put Lucy on the ladder holding the fishing rod, and stick Catherine in the third spot off to the right until all the dolls are surrounding the one representing Rose Winters.

How to Complete the Campfire Diorama

Upon finishing the Birthday Diorama, a drawer will unlock containing the fourth and final Black-Haired Doll. Take it along with the other three on the diorama and go back to the Workshop.

At the Campfire Diorama, there are four places requiring dolls, of which only two are labeled. Place Lucy and Catherine in their designated spots on the left, and place the Jimmy doll opposite Catherine, holding a torch. Finally, put the Black Haired-Doll in the final spot on the right, next to Jimmy.

Completing the Birthday Diorama will burn the central effigy and reveal the Breaker Box Key, which players can take to the Breaker Box by the elevator to begin one of Resident Evil Village's most terrifying sections.
