Many in the Resident Evil community, and the internet as a whole, have fallen in love with Resident Evil Village's Lady Dimitrescu. This incredibly tall Resident Evil 8 vampire and her equally gorgeous vampire daughters have captured the hearts of many, with plenty of posts and fanart being made about them.
One community that also has its attention on the new faces introduced for Resident Evil Village is the cosplay community. One member of this community is Tiktok user godofnightvale who has already made videos on the app showing off her new Lady Dimitrescu cosplay.
This isn't the first time godofnightvale has cosplayed from a horror franchise, with her previously showing off her cosplays of the Nun from the film of the same name and Sweeney Todd. Her cosplay of Lady Dimitrescu was revealed on January 22, 2021, on both her Instagram profile and her TikTok profile.
On godofnightvale's Tiktok page, the cosplayer has multiple videos acting in character as Lady Dimitrescu. She often makes usage of dramatic camera angles to simulate the vampire lady's impressive height and stature. The cosplayer also revealed that the cosplay was made over the course of three and a half days and cost under $50.
More Resident Evil 8 cosplayers are likely to be seen as more time passes and the game is finally released. However, godofnightvale is definitely among the first to take a stab at the internet's favorite tall vampire lady. Some have even joined her already by duetting her Tiktok videos as Lady Dimitrescu's vampire daughters, with Daniela being the most popular. More of Lady Dimitrescu's other daughters will likely be seen as well once fans of course learn what their names are and what they are like in-game.
Considering the popularity of both the character and the released cosplay videos, godofnightvale likely has plenty more for Resident Evil 8 fans and the cosplay community on TikTok. More will also likely come after more is revealed about this beautiful, but ancient vampire, giving all more lore to work with and absorb.
There's still plenty of time left before the full release of Resident Evil 8.
