Players are hunting through Resident Evil Village for secrets, collectibles, and achievements. These involve everything from getting a specific amount of money to defeating difficult foes early in the game.

The secret to many of the secrets in Resident Evil Village often comes down to money. Lei (Village's currency) opens many doors through upgrades and weapons, but it can be tough to find enough to purchase the really impactful stuff. This is where the game's combinable treasures come in, including a particularly awesome one that players can pick up later in the game: Heisenberg's Hammer. Here's how to get it. Some spoilers ahead.

Step 1: The Factory

Heisenberg's Factory is a stage later in the game where players must contend with mechanical horrors before facing off against Heisenberg as a boss. The hammer that players will be recreating is a twin to the one Heisenberg uses in the fight against him. It's long and large, so players may have to purchase additional inventory space.

Step 2: B4 - Materials

Players will first enter Factory floor B4, where materials are stored. At a certain point while getting through the Foundry part of the floor, players will find themselves walking down a hall with enemy Soldats on either side. Not long after, they'll notice a crumbling wall and find a Mine in a nearby cabinet. There are also Labyrinth Puzzles to be found, but not until later. Players should set down the Mine in front of the cracked wall.

One Soldat will come to life upon walking back down the hall, after getting the Key Item Cog Mold. Lure it back to the cracked wall and blow it up with the Mine. This will destroy the wall and damage the Soldat. Once it's dead, head through the opened way to find the Mechanical Part (Cylinder) inside a case.

Step 3: B4 Again

Heisenberg's Quarters are here, on the other side of the Foundry. Players must return to this part of the level after obtaining Heisenberg's Key, which is only available after getting to B1 - Storage. After defeating the Ghouls inside, loot the chest in the middle to find the Mechanical Part (Shaft). Put it together with the Cylinder and voila: Heisenberg's Hammer. Players now hold a weapon as legendary as Moreau's Magnum.

Step 4: Using the Hammer

Unfortunately, players cannot actually wield the Hammer, since it's apparently too big and heavy. It's only use is as an item to be sold, but as a unique, late game treasure, it sells for a good amount.

Resident Evil Village is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
