Many are waiting in anticipation for Resident Evil Village to be released this May. Theories about what is to come are still flying, but a new trailer has given fans a sneak peak of even more horrors that weren't revealed in full before.

This new Resident Evil Village trailer was put out by the magazine Game Informer to announce its exclusive coverage for the game that will be released throughout the month. Coverage will include even more gameplay and words from the developers.

Despite the new trailer showing some footage that has already been seen, there are clips new enemies and locations that Ethan Winters will need to travel through. One of the most exciting parts of this trailer is the reveal of werewolf enemies. There are more than the one shown, but the one in the trailer seems to be capable of knocking Ethan down and killing him instantly. This could mean that players will be forced to keep as much distance as possible, and one clip even shows that there are multiple werewolves in the village itself, seeming to eat whatever meat is left on various corpses. Players in this scenario may need to play stealthily so that they aren't quickly hunted down.

Another type of enemy that was shown is a group of ghoulish hooded beings that seem to be in a catacomb-like area. This area could possibly be below Lady Dimitrescu's home, which could make these enemies vampires. They didn't seem to show any signs of powers like Lady Dimitrescu's daughters, so they may be either malnourished vampires or some other creatures that the vampire woman herself is responsible for creating.

Toward the end of the trailer it seems a possible boss fight has also been revealed featuring a tall man with telekinetic powers and a very large hammer. This man is most likely the man with the hat and glasses seen in other trailers, but his hammer and abilities makes him most likely a threat that players and Ethan Winters will need to overcome.

There's a lot to look forward to with Resident Evil Village, but players won't know for sure what to expect until the game's proper release. Until then, fans will be speculating about what is possibly to come with the confirmed information about Village so far in mind.

Resident Evil Village is set to release on May 7, 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
