Yesterday, Epic Games revealed that Fortnite is getting yet another crossover content just in time for Halloween in the form of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine from the popular survival-horror video game franchise, Resident Evil. Luckily for fans, Chris and Jill are getting two sets of skins for this crossover. Fans can choose between Chris' Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil Village look, while Jill has her S.T.A.R.S. uniform from the first game and her new outfit from the Resident Evil 3 Remake.

Apart from the characters, Fortnite also added several Resident Evil-themed items such as the Green Herb and Saving Keystrokes typewriter, the Stun Rod, Hot Gogger pickaxes, and a comic book-style loading screen. Of course, Resident Evil crossing over to Fortnite was inevitable, especially since Halloween is just around the corner and the Resident Evil franchise is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. However, while Jill and Chris are good picks, here are other characters that should crossover to Fortnite next.

Leon Kennedy

New Resident Evil Games Can't Keep Ignoring Leon

It is no secret that apart from Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy is also regarded as one of the most important characters in Resident Evil. In 1998's Resident Evil 2, Leon first appeared where players witnessed his unfortunate first day as a police officer during the Raccoon City Incident. Leon's popularity was solidified in Resident Evil 4, which was released in VR recently, and is still rumored to be Capcom's next Resident Evil Remake.

Given Leon's popularity among Resident Evil fans, it wouldn't be a surprise if Epic Games adds him as one of the crossover characters. Like Chris and Jill, Epic could also feature two of Leon's most iconic outfits: the R.P.D. police uniform from Resident Evil 2 and the iconic leather jacket from Resident Evil 4.

Claire Redfield

Another character that is missing in the Resident Evil and Fortnite crossover is Claire Redfield. Appearing alongside Leon in Resident Evil 2, Claire arrives in Raccoon City searching for her brother Chris. Like Leon, Claire is also one of the most popular characters in the Resident Evil franchise, and she was last seen in 2015's Resident Evil: Revelations 2.

Although it remains to be seen whether Epic Games is planning to add more Resident Evil characters to Fortnite, fans would undoubtedly be delighted to see Claire in the online battle royale game. In a possible crossover, Epic could include Claire's outfit from the Resident Evil 2 remake alongside the Elza Walker outfit, which is an additional costume featured in the remake. For the uninitiated, Claire replaced Elza Walker, who was supposed to be one of the playable characters alongside Leon, in the first build of Resident Evil 2.

Albert Wesker

Apart from featuring protagonists from the Resident Evil franchise, it would also be interesting to see some of the series' iconic villains grace the battle royale games. It is no secret that Albert Wesker is one of the most memorable out of all the evil masterminds in the Resident Evil franchise. Appearing alongside Chris and Jill in the first game, Wesker eventually became one of the forces that drove Resident Evil's plot forward. As far as possible outfits are concerned, Epic Games could feature Wesker's S.T.A.R.S. uniform from the first game and the all-black ensemble he wore in Resident Evil 5.

Lady Dimitrescu

When Resident Evil Village was released several months ago, the giant villain Lady Dimitrescu quickly became one of the game's breakout stars. For the uninitiated, Lady Dimitrescu was a human mutant standing at 9ft 6in, making her taller than other monsters in the Resident Evil franchise such as Nemesis and Mr. X. Given the massive popularity of Lady Dimitrescu among Resident Evil fans, adding her to Fortnite will most likely be one of the game's most memorable crossovers since Thanos.

Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
